Job summary

K2 Data Centres, a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited, based in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a Data Centre Specialist to execute and assist maintenance, ensuring high-quality service and 100% uptime for critical equipment.

You will work under the Facility Lead, plan work orders, support projects, and coordinate with engineers while maintaining safety and compliance across FOC, libraries, stores and workshop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in a Data Centre environment preferred.
• Proficient in spoken and written Bahasa Malay and English.
• Flexible in work patterns to support business demands.
• Shifts longer than eight hours are expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation, maintenance and repair of critical equipment systems with 100% uptime.
• Plan completion of planned & reactive work orders to meet monthly compliance.
• Assist in planning, supervision and handover of project changes or improvements.
• Maintain clean and tidy Facilities Operations Centre (FOC), Library, Stores & Workshop; practice clean-as-you-go.
• Review equipment failures and prepare root cause analysis and action plans.
• Develop site procedures for maintenance and operation of critical equipment (SOPs, EOPs, Drills).
• Assist in technical issues, project management, vendor management and reporting on all critical equipment and systems.
• Escort and supervise third-party engineers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with site standards.
• Operate equipment and respond to alarms in the FOC; prioritize EPMS, BMS and Fire System alarms.
