Job summary

Promatrix DC Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior Data Centre Operations Lead to oversee all facilities management and related services. You will drive incident response, maintenance planning, capacity forecasting, and project migrations within a high-availability data centre environment.

The role requires proven leadership, vendor management, and a strong understanding of ISO standards and security requirements to ensure client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management within data centres or critical environments.
• Knowledge of vendor management and contract compliance.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and security requirements for data centres.
• Experience with budget planning and cost optimization in operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage incident response and DR drills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Centre operations team and oversee facilities management.
• Coordinate incident response, maintenance schedules and capacity planning.
• Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met for clients.
• Oversee expansion and migration projects in the Data Centre.
• Develop and implement data centre management practices and compliance protocols.
• Supervise security requirements—cyber, physical, and logical.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships and service levels.
• Lead disaster recovery efforts and scalability initiatives.
• Develop and control the operational budget with forecasts and cost optimizations.
• Drive continuous improvement in procedures and disaster response tactics.
• Ensure sustainability targets and ISO certifications are met.
• Provide leadership and development opportunities to team members.
