Job summary

Singapore Telecommunications in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a Senior Associate Engineer, Data Centre to join our KL office. You will perform daily operations to ensure smooth day-to-day execution and continuous operations in a fast-paced DC environment.

You will work with BMC Control-M scheduling, create job flows, monitor batch jobs, generate reports, and support DR exercises. Applicants with a Diploma in IT and 1–3 years in DC operations are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in IT or Computer Science required.
• 1–3 years of DC Operations experience preferred; fresh graduates with attitude welcome.
• Familiarity with Data Centre & Server Operations support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor batch jobs across multiple systems.
• Plan, develop, integrate, and automate tasks using batch schedulers (e.g., BMC Control-M).
• Create and maintain reference architectures, best practices and procedures.
• Provide operational support and incident escalation as required.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Adhere to security procedures and participate in DR exercises.
