Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an on-site IT hardware and data center support specialist to install, relocate, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, and decommission IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and backup equipment.

You will perform data center inspections, cabling, inventory and RMA management, vendor coordination, access management, POP site support, maintenance/change activities, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data center operations.
• Good understanding of structured cabling and patching.
• Experience with hardware break-fix and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT hardware and data center support for servers, networks, storage, and backup equipment.
• Perform data center inspections, cabling, inventory, and RMA management.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage access for POP sites.
• Provide on-call, after-hours, and shift support as required.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in data center operations.

Good understanding and practical knowledge of structured cabling and patching.

Experience in hardware support, break-fix, and troubleshooting.

Ability to respond promptly to technical issues, provide timely updates, and escalated matters when necessary.

Experience working in a large-scale, mission-critical environment is an added advantage.

Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge and a strong interest in data center operations are encouraged to apply.
