Job summary

JAC Recruitment's client in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned IT/Data Centre professional to manage ITSM tools, support staff, and provide technical training. The role requires strong governance of change and incident processes, plus oversight of physical security measures.

You will drive change management through CAB meetings, coordinate incident responses, and monitor security controls while coordinating with outsourced vendors to ensure continuous, secure service delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related Engineering/IT field.
• Certified ITIL, CDCP, or CDCS or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a data centre environment related to physical security or Data Centre Network layer 1/2 deployment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing ITSM tools and the customer support portal; provide technical support and training to staff. Escalate issues to outsourced vendors and ensure timely resolution.
• Drive the change management process by conducting CAB meetings, reviewing and approving changes, and tracking KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Support incident management by acting as an escalation point, coordinating responses, and providing timely updates to stakeholders. Review and improve process performance.
• Monitor and review the performance of physical security controls, systems, and processes to ensure site security. Manage outsourced security service vendor.
