Job summary

Hirehub Group seeks a seasoned EHS/Safety Officer to manage safety across data center construction sites. You will develop and implement safety plans, conduct regular site inspections, and lead incident investigations to prevent recurrence.

The role requires 5+ years in construction safety, a DOSH Green Book, and strong leadership and reporting skills; Mandarin is an added advantage. On-site work in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with a focus on regulatory compliance and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• DOSH Green Book (Registered Safety & Health Officer) certification.
• Minimum 5 years as an EHS/Safety Officer in construction, preferably large-scale projects.
• Experience in data center construction or high-risk facilities is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction hazards and safety controls.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain site safety plans per client and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings; enforce safe work practices on site.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure PTW compliance and safety standards.
• Plan and maintain site safety management systems per project needs.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare safety reports; ensure DOSH and ISO documentation compliance.
