Job summary

HR Exchange Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Data Centre Building Manager for the Senawang, Malaysia data centre site.

The role is the on-site lead for building and facilities management, ensuring smooth operation, compliance, incident control and lifecycle planning of M&E systems. You will coordinate with tenants, vendors, and the operations team, manage preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive adherence to SOPs and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Building/ Facilities/ Real Estate Management or equivalent with minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance for building and M&E systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of building services and facilities maintenance.
• Strong coordination and incident management capability.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, and Mandarin language ability for client communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as the overall on-site person-in-charge for property and facilities management services.
• Ensure smooth operation of building and facility management functions, including development and implementation of SOPs and operational guidelines.
• Advise the building owner or site leadership on technical issues, options, risks, and recommended solutions.
• Lead incident control, response coordination, escalation, and timely reporting.
• Manage maintenance, repair, cyclical replacement, shutdown planning, HT/LT servicing, genset load tests, and defect closure.
• Ensure statutory licenses, submissions, inspections, and authority requirements are fulfilled and renewed on time.
• Liaise with tenants, users, customers, contractors, and vendors on building-related matters.
• Monitor service quality, contractor performance, maintenance standards, and asset condition.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure facility readiness and operational continuity.
• Support budgeting, planning, and long-term asset management initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Role Summary:
