Job summary

Sourceo Pte Ltd in Malaysia seeks an Effective Team Lead to assist the reporting senior Manager and ensure timely deliverance of in-country projects for customers, while complying with STT GDC Group DCO policies and standards.

You will understand engineering design and operational aspects of building systems, plan and supervise all MEP provisioning programs for critical facilities, and lead development and provisioning projects, coordinating with consultants, contractors and vendors to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in managing critical facilities development or operations in 24x7 DC environment.
• Good knowledge in MEP operations and building facilities related systems such as Switchgears, UPS, Generators, CRAUs, etc.
• Ability to perform CAD system / Revit 2018 design and strong knowledge of local Malaysia building codes and standards.
• Willing to work staggered or beyond office hours when required.
• Possess relevant FM and/or data centre related certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, CDCMP, DCS in Operations).
• Familiar with certifications standards such as LEED Gold, ISO 20000/22301/27001/14001, Uptime Institute Tier system, etc.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
• Proficient in CAD system / Revit 2018.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and provisioning projects, directing consultants, contractors and equipment vendors.
• Prepare RFPs, evaluate proposals and make vendor recommendations.
• Act as primary customer contact for customised data centre development projects, including budgeting and scheduling documents.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget and handed over on time with regular status updates.
• Prepare monthly project reports on budget, schedules and scope objectives.
• Maintain vendor relationships to provide cost-effective services for all projects.
• Lead and coordinate development of as‑built drawings and capacity planning for building services.
• Provide prompt response to emergencies and customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with FM/DC certifications and customer audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
