Talent Trader Group Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced field service engineer to install, inspect, test and commission UPS systems, PDUs, Busway and related electrical distribution equipment at customer sites.

Successful candidates will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime, attend service requests and provide emergency technical assistance. You will support project implementation, prepare documentation and train customers after handover.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience installing, commissioning and maintaining UPS systems, PDUs or electrical power equipment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Familiarity with IEC standards and local electrical regulations.
• Willingness to travel and perform field assignments at client sites.

Carry out the installation, inspection, testing and commissioning of UPS systems, PDUs, Busway and related electrical distribution equipment at customer sites.

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment faults to maintain system reliability and minimise downtime.

Attend service requests and provide emergency technical assistance in response to power system failures, alarms and other operational issues.

Support project implementation activities and ensure all electrical installation works comply with technical designs, specifications and relevant safety standards.

Prepare and maintain service documentation, including maintenance records, technical reports and customer feedback.

Provide technical guidance, user training and handover support to customers after installation and commissioning.

Liaise with vendors, suppliers and internal departments to coordinate spare parts, equipment upgrades and technical support.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related discipline.

Practical experience in installing, commissioning and maintaining UPS systems, PDUs or electrical power distribution equipment.

Knowledge of major UPS brands and their applications is an added advantage.

Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical schematics.

Good understanding of electrical safety procedures, IEC standards and applicable local electrical regulations.

Willing to travel and undertake field assignments at customer locations.

Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
