Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer III (Shift) in Malaysia to lead maintenance, testing, and surveillance of critical electrotechnical and mechanical systems across data centers. You will plan day-to-day maintenance with Site Management, act as escalation point, and ensure safe, compliant operations while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mission-critical operations and maintenance of large-scale electrotechnical or mechanical systems.
• Chargeman A4 license is required.
• Technical education or certification in mission-critical operations or related engineering field.
• Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities across critical electrical, mechanical, and technical systems.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee day-to-day maintenance activities in collaboration with Site Management and Lead Engineers.
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
• Lead switching procedures and ensure smooth execution of system changes with minimal disruption to operations.
• Manage incident response, including on-call duties and execution of Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, approved processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of work.
• Maintain and review documentation, including MOPs, Change Requests (CRs), and EOPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to junior engineers, supporting team development and recruitment efforts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including energy efficiency, operational optimization, and ad hoc infrastructure projects.
