Job summary

CBH Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to on-site oversee electrical construction QA/QC, review drawings and ITPs, and coordinate inspections with consultants and clients on a Banting-based project in Malaysia.

The role requires a Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in QA/QC for electrical projects, with strong documentation and communication skills to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience in QA/QC for electrical construction projects.
Familiar with electrical installation, testing & commissioning and inspection procedures.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Experience in HV/MV electrical systems, substations or data centre projects will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures on-site to ensure compliance with project specs.
Conduct inspection and quality control for electrical installation works.
Review drawings, specifications, method statements and ITPs.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports and checklists.
Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients and project teams.
Monitor testing, commissioning and installation activities.
Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure works comply with project requirements, safety standards and regulations.
Assist in preparing project handover and quality documentation.
