Job summary

Env icool Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support data center project delivery and on-site coordination, focusing on documentation and project administration.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in engineering, basic engineering knowledge, and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Experience in data centers or related engineering projects is preferred, with meticulous document control and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in an engineering-related field.
• Basic engineering knowledge and understanding of project processes and technical documents.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office software.
• Experience in data centers, electromechanical systems, HVAC, construction, or engineering projects preferred.
• Familiarity with MOS, RA, PTW, RFI, and other engineering documents preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong document management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager in data center project delivery and on-site coordination.
• Prepare, organize, submit, update, and archive project documents.
• Assist in preparing and following up on engineering documents such as MOS, RA, PTW, RFI, TQ, FSR, and T&C Records.
• Follow up on client and consultant review comments on documents, coordinate internal revisions, and close out issues.
• Maintain the project Document Tracker, Action Tracker, and project progress records.
• Assist in organizing documents related to equipment installation, commissioning, Punch List, and project handover.
• Prepare project meeting materials, progress reports, and client-required documents.
• Participate in on-site delivery, inspection, and coordination tasks as required by the project.
