Job summary

ZTE Malaysia is seeking an on-site IDC O&M technician to perform daily inspections and routine tasks in our data center in Malaysia. You will follow Alibaba Cloud SOPs for work orders and operations, assist with basic troubleshooting and hardware handling, and coordinate with IT Operations and Facilities teams.

Qualifications

• Basic troubleshooting skills to identify equipment faults and escalate appropriately.
• Familiar with work orders, checklists, ticketing systems, SOPs and routine operations.
• Ability to perform routine data center inspections and report issues clearly.
• Good understanding of data center safety, access control, information security, and EHS.
• Ability to coordinate with IT Operations, Infrastructure and Facilities teams.
• Detail oriented, reliable, and capable of following procedures precisely.
• Strong communication and coordination; English is essential, Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily IDC inspection and routine O&M activities.
• Execute assigned work orders and operational tasks per SOPs.
• Support basic troubleshooting and fault identification.
• Assist hardware installation, removal, replacement and equipment handling.
• Support rack-in/rack-out, equipment migration and cabling.
• Maintain inspection records and work-order information.
• Assist IT operations, infrastructure and asset teams when needed.
• Escalate issues requiring specialist knowledge to the appropriate Expert.
• Support routine IDC O&M activities within the service scope.
