Job summary

Bitdeer is hiring for a Data Center Operations Engineer to manage daily data center infrastructure and AI/HPC clusters. You will handle installation, provisioning, maintenance, and incident response for GPU and server hardware.

The role requires Linux admin skills, networking knowledge, and willingness to work a 24x7 two‑shift rotation (nights/weekends). Prior experience with NVIDIA GB200/GB300 is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• Fundamental understanding of data center infrastructure and server hardware.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and basic scripting.
• Knowledge of high‑speed networking and InfiniBand/RoCE preferred.
• Experience with GPU clusters (NVIDIA GB200/GB300) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operation of data center infrastructure for high availability.
• Install, rack and stack, cabling, and maintain AI/HPC cluster infra (NVIDIA GB200/GB300, GPU/ x86/Storage).
• Monitor health of servers, GPUs, storage, and networking gear; perform diagnostics.
• Conduct hardware replacement, BIOS/BMC, firmware upgrades and diagnostics.
• Assist server provisioning, OS installation, cluster expansion, and network validation.
• Handle incidents, document SOPs, and prepare shift handover reports.
• Collaborate with engineering/network teams on deployments and improvements.
• Participate in 24x7 two-shift rotation including nights and weekends.
