Job summary

Trinity Consulting Services is seeking an experienced senior network engineer to lead data center networking deployments and incident resolution. This role requires 8+ years in network engineering, routing and switching, and strong Layer 2 expertise.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point firewalls, Linux systems (RHEL), and firewall management using nftables or iptables, plus a solid grasp of TCP/IP, VLANs, and network segmentation.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in network engineering, data center networking, deployment, and implementation.
• Hands-on routing and switching experience with emphasis on Layer 2 networking.
• Experience implementing and managing Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, preferably RHEL or other enterprise Linux distributions.
• Experience with Linux firewall management using nftables and/or iptables.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, network segmentation, access control, and packet filtering.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure deployment, troubleshooting, and configuration management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident resolution skills.
