Job description

• The role requires candidates with approximately 5 years of relevant experience in Network Security, with the majority of their experience focused on security rather than general networking.
• FortiGate firewall expertise is the primary technical requirement, including hands‑on experience in:
• Firewall deployment and implementation
• Firewall troubleshooting and support
• Network security operations and administration
• Candidates should be able to demonstrate practical experience and competency in deploying and troubleshooting firewall solutions.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA and CCNP are considered nice-to-have qualifications but are not mandatory.
• The emphasis is on candidates' practical network security experience and technical capabilities, particularly with FortiGate firewalls, rather than certifications alone.

Primary skill set :-

• Proficient with security platforms: Cisco ASA (CSM), FTD (FMC), FortiGate (FortiManager), Juniper SRX (Junos Space).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI model, routing/switching, ACLs.
• Familiarity with security technologies: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption, authentication, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Nice to Have skill sets :

• Deep knowledge of Internet Gateway (Extranet/S2S), IPS/IDS, firewall virtualization, VPNs, DMVPN, NAT, DMZ, and certificate management.
• Relevant certifications (preferred): Cisco (CCNA/CCNP Security), Fortinet (FCA/FCSS/NSE).
• Strong advantage: experience with GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST API, Jenkins, Jinja2, YAML.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools is a plus.
• Experience with AWS and Azure network security services.
