Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Malaysia I Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Project Coordination & Execution Support to drive MEP construction planning, execution, and handover for data center projects in Johor Bahru.

You will coordinate with site teams, contractors, and vendors to meet milestones, monitor schedules, assess risks, and report to the project manager. Experience in IST/commissioning and cost control is preferred; Bachelor's in an engineering field is required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in MEP or construction engineering.
• Experience in data center construction is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical power systems, fire protection and plumbing.
• Familiarity with local authority approvals and MEP testing/commissioning procedures.
• IST or critical infrastructure commissioning experience preferred.
• Proficient in project management tools, MS Project, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and handover stages of MEP construction works.
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and vendors to hit MEP milestones.
• Monitor project schedules, identify risks or delays, and report updates to the project manager and stakeholders.
• Assist in design coordination with consultants for MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, plumbing.
• Support IST testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper handover of MEP systems.
