Job summary

Amazon Lab126 is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Engineer to oversee critical facilities management in AWS data centers in Malaysia. The role focuses on risk management, maintenance execution, and vendor oversight to ensure uptime, safety, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment operate within contract parameters.
• Manage on-site contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors per established practices and local legislation.
• Perform risk management, maintenance planning, and incident reporting for data center facilities.
• Coordinate projects with IT, Networking, Logistics, Safety, Security, and other leaders to optimize safety and efficiency.
• Establish and maintain documentation for facility operations and support projects to increase capacity and reliability.
