Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Malaysia-based team. The role focuses on electrical system management, maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement of data centre power infrastructure.

3–5 years of relevant experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering are required, with proficiency in English; Finnish language skills are a plus. Work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment supporting critical facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams,

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in data centres or critical infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS, generators and switchgear.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Finnish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Electrical System Management: design, install, operate and maintain electrical systems including UPS, generators and switchgear.
Maintenance and Upgrades: perform preventive and corrective maintenance with vendors and contractors.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: resolve electrical issues with minimal downtime.
Safety And Compliance: adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations and audits.
Strategic Initiatives: support initiatives to enhance electrical performance and reliability.
Team Collaboration: work with engineers, technicians and operations for 24/7 uptime.
