Job summary

Feishu is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead construction health, safety, and environment efforts for data centre projects in Malaysia. You will develop and enforce project EHS policies, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with local regulations while aligning with ISO standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in EHS, extensive field leadership, and proficiency in English and Mandarin for regional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in construction EHS management with a successful track record on large-scale data centre projects.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment regulations for data centre building management.
• Strong leadership with ability to inspire teams.
• Data centre construction processes knowledge and best practices.
• English and Mandarin proficiency required for regional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce project-specific EHS policies, standards, and procedures.
• Set project EHS goals and strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Coordinate with departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to implement EHS on site.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement corrective controls.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and building safety laws.
• Perform site inspections and safety audits to monitor compliance.
• Lead safety inductions, orientations, and ongoing training on risk mitigation.
• Lead emergency response efforts and investigations of incidents.
• Maintain safety records and report safety performance data.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate EHS into all activities.
• Promote a safety-first culture across the project.
• Maintain relationships with clients through regular reporting on EHS status.
• Ensure policies align with Bridge EHS pre-qualification and internal EHS programs and ISO accreditation.
