Job summary

AECOM in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Data Center Design Manager to lead end‑to‑end data centre and building design projects for international clients. The role requires hands‑on leadership, strong communication, and a background in architecture or engineering, with suitable post‑graduate experience and professional credentials being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Data centre design experience and building design experience are mandatory.
• Honours/B‑Tech/etc. post‑graduate experience is required for relevant roles.
• Master’s degree or professional registration are advantageous for seniority.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data centre core and shell design from concept through construction.
• Lead multidisciplinary design coordination for architecture, civil, structural, M/E/P, and security.
• Manage design baseline, localization to international data centre standards, and client communications.
• Provide project leadership, risk tracking, and proactive issue resolution.
• Support bids, proposals, and resource planning; travel as needed.
