Job summary

Weichai Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager to oversee diesel generator systems for mission-critical data centers in Malaysia. You will lead service teams, coordinate maintenance plans, and ensure OEM standards and SLAs are met.

The role requires 5–8 years in diesel generators, strong leadership, CMMS proficiency, and the ability to manage budgets, spares, and contractor performance while driving continuous improvement in reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Power Generation Engineering or related field (Diploma holders with relevant experience may be considered).
• 5–8 years of experience in diesel generator systems, critical power, data centers, maintenance planning, or service operations; 2–3 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, reliability, and availability of diesel generator systems for data centers.
• Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance plans per OEM, regulatory, and SLA requirements.
• Manage maintenance work orders in CMMS; document and close records; track outstanding actions.
