Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure seeks a Data Center Construction Project Manager in Malaysia to lead colocation data center programs. You will oversee delivery, safety, schedule, budget, and quality, coordinating between Oracle and providers across power, cooling, networking, and cabling.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects, schedules, budgets, and delivery priorities.
• Strong understanding of data center systems including electrical, mechanical, cooling, networking, and cabling.
• Experience with commissioning, startup, quality assurance, and construction readiness.
• Strong vendor, contractor, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify project risk early and drive mitigation and resolution.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead colocation data center construction projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, resources, and delivery risks across multiple workstreams.
• Serve as the primary contact for colocation providers, contractors, and key delivery partners.
• Oversee quality assurance and ensure alignment with design specs and industry standards.
• Conduct detailed site walks to assess progress and readiness.
• Lead startup and commissioning activities to verify critical systems meet requirements.
• Coordinate tenant fit-out across design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Oversee installation and readiness of power, cooling, networking, and cabling systems.
• Identify risks, gaps in mitigation, and develop corrective actions.
• Review and maintain project documentation including design reviews and commissioning plans.
• Manage vendor/contractor performance, including contract compliance and scope.
• Partner with design teams to resolve construction issues and maintain plan alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement through evaluations and lessons learned.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability building.
