Job summary

Software International Corporation in Malaysia seeks an experienced BI Analyst to design, build, and maintain dashboards and analytics solutions. You will collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data lineage, governance, and data quality, delivering authoritative visuals and performance-optimized data models.

You will manage BI content, apply security (Row-Level), define KPIs, and communicate with stakeholders across teams in a hybrid environment that supports flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, or BI development.
• Strong SQL for data extraction, validation, and quality checks.
• Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and data modeling.
• Experience with enterprise BI tools and dashboard development.
• Understanding data sources, lineage, and governance principles.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and analytics solutions using enterprise BI tools and robust data models.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to understand data sources, lineage, and data quality; ensure dashboards reflect authoritative data.
• Optimize dashboard performance, data refreshes, and data model efficiency.
• Manage BI content (datasets, reports/dashboards, apps) and security (Row-Level Security) as applicable.
• Define KPIs and semantic layers; translate requirements into visuals and storytelling.
• Ensure governance, data security, and privacy; provide documentation and user training.
