Overview

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize advanced BI solutions using Power BI to drive data-informed decisions across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly dashboards and reports, and play a key role in shaping our data visualization and reporting strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance dashboards and reports in Power BI based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query (M) for efficient reporting.
• Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL Server and APIs.
• Implement and manage row-level security, access controls, and workspace governance.
• Troubleshoot data issues, validate results, and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices and standards in BI development.
• Stay updated on the latest features and best practices in Power BI and related Microsoft technologies.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of total experience with at least 3+ years of BI development focused on Power BI.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large relational databases, dimensional modeling, and star/snowflake schemas.
• Experience connecting Power BI to multiple data sources including cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong data governance, enterprise data governance tools familiarity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Power BI or Azure certifications (e.g., PL-300).
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or other data engineering tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Background in mentoring or leading BI projects or teams.
