Job summary

Public Mutual Berhad is seeking a proactive cybersecurity intern in Kuala Lumpur to support administration, monitoring and operations of enterprise security solutions. You will assist in reviews of compliance, vulnerability assessments, and policy maintenance while gaining hands-on exposure to cybersecurity technologies within a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

Pursuing or enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
CGPA 3.50 or weighted average 70% and above.
A good team player with a positive work attitude, eager to learn and meticulous.
Hands-on exposure to enterprise cybersecurity technologies and operations.
Learn cybersecurity best practices in a regulated financial services environment.
Work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals on operational and project-based initiatives.

Responsibilities

Assist in administration, monitoring and operational support of enterprise information security solutions.
Prepare and perform first-level reviews of security compliance, vulnerability assessment, and security reports.
Preview and maintain information security policies, standards and procedures.
Contribute to cybersecurity projects through planning, implementation, testing and documentation.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors on issue tracking, patch management, system maintenance and support activities.
Perform other information security-related duties as required.
