KLA invites engineers to join our field service team in Malaysia, servicing complex semiconductor equipment at customer wafer fab facilities. You will troubleshoot, install, upgrade, and train users while coordinating schedules to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel. Entry-level candidates may be considered, with overtime compensation and travel allowances.

What You'll Do

• Field service activities associated with troubleshooting, diagnostic and repairing highly complex equipment at customer wafer fab facility.
• Resolve installation and upgrading problems.
• Coordinate equipment schedule to minimize system downtime.
• Conduct customer orientation and technical training on all aspects of equipment maintenance support for user application.
• Prepare field service reports on customer support activity and provides documentation to other supporting functions on re-occurring problems

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• Good interpersonal/communication skills in understanding customer needs.
• Shows initiative and can work independently.
• Ability to work overtime and travel at short notice (transport allowance, overtime work is compensated)
• Experience on semiconductor capital equipment is an advantage
• Candidate with no prior experience can be considered for entry position
