Job summary

DF Automation & Robotics in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a proactive Regional Account Manager to drive revenue and strengthen customer relationships across assigned territories. You will develop sales strategies for CS packages, coordinate on-site support, and collaborate with Engineering and QA to resolve complex technical issues.

The role requires 1 year of engineering or B2B sales experience in automation, robotics, or related fields, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/ Electromechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of engineering experience with regional territory/account management or B2B sales.
• Experience in automation, robotics and system integration is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of robotics and industrial automation technologies.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficient in MS Office.
• Able to travel regularly for customer meetings and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned regional accounts as the primary contact and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue via CS packages, service solutions, upselling and cross-selling.
• Identify customer needs and recommend technical support and CS services aligned with automation systems.
• Prepare accurate technical quotations and proposals in line with sales policies.
• Analyze customer automation systems and troubleshoot with Engineering and Technical Support teams.
• Coordinate on-site technical support, diagnostics, maintenance and issue resolution.
• Lead the technical support team to deliver timely, professional service at customer sites.
• Manage contracts and service agreements, ensuring proper administration and fulfillment.
• Monitor regional sales performance, revenue growth and targets; take actions to achieve objectives.
• Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and expanding accounts.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project, R&D, QA and Customer Service to address requirements.
• Provide consultative technical and commercial support translating automation needs into service solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, quotations, contracts and activities.
• Support improvements to CS processes and engagement strategies; participate in meetings and reviews.
