Westernacher Consulting GmbH is seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Solution Architect in Malaysia to lead strategic transformation programs across local, regional and global engagements. You will drive discovery workshops, map KPls, and develop roadmaps for SAP EWM, SAP TM, and Yard Logistics with a focus on automation and AI integration.

The role requires 3-5 years in supply chain consulting, strong SAP knowledge, and proven ability to defend value cases to executives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in supply chain or logistics consulting, SAP SCM advisory, value engineering or solution consulting.
• Solid understanding of warehouse and transportation operations and how SAP EWM and/or SAP TM support them.
• Proven experience running discovery sessions and building business or value cases.
• Strong financial and operational literacy; capable of linking productivity gains to cost, service and working capital.

As we continue to strengthen our team in Southeast Asia, we are seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Solution Architect to lead strategic transformation programs and drive successful project delivery across local, regional, and global engagements.

How you will make an impact:

Discovery and business consulting

• Plan and lead discovery workshops and site walk-throughs across inbound, storage, picking, packing, outbound, yard and transport.
• Map current-state operations and KPIs: order cycle time, pick productivity, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock time, OTIF, freight cost per unit, truck utilization, empty miles.
• Turn findings into a clear problem statement and prioritized improvement opportunities.

Transformation roadmap

• Build phased roadmaps for SAP EWM, SAP TM, Yard Logistics and SAP Business Network for Logistics, including legacy WMS/TMS migration and S/4HANA alignment.
• Advise on automation and robotics integration (AS/RS, AMRs, conveyors, MFS), labor management and multi-site rollout strategy.
• Identify where AI and emerging technology create impact: slotting and wave optimization, demand-driven labor planning, predictive ETA, route and load optimization, computer vision, IoT, digital twins and agentic workflows.
• Connect execution to the wider supply chain: how planning (SAP IBP), inventory and order promising shape what happens in the warehouse and on the road.

Value case and deal support

• Build business cases with operational baselines, benefit levers, investment, ROI, payback and NPV, using benchmarks and customer data.
• Present and defend the value case to operations leaders, finance and procurement.
• Co‑own deal strategy with the Account Executive: win themes, solution narrative, proposal storyline and orals.
• Brief and drive Presales and Practice Directors for demos and solution designs prove the value case.

Thought leadership and growth

• Build reusable assets: discovery guides, warehouse and transport value‑lever libraries, ROI calculators, industry point‑of‑views.
• Track the SAP supply chain roadmap, automation market and AI developments; turn them into customer‑ready stories.
• Contribute to events, webinars and content that reinforce Westernacher's leadership in supply chain.

Your Expertise:

• 3-5 years in supply chain or logistics consulting, SAP SCM advisory, value engineering or solution consulting, ideally at a consulting firm, SAP partner, 3PL or SAP itself.
• Solid understanding of warehouse and transportation operations and how SAP EWM and/or SAP TM support them.
• Proven experience running discovery sessions and building business or value cases.
• Strong financial and operational literacy: you can link a productivity gain to cost, service and working capital.
• Hands‑on curiosity about AI and emerging technology, with examples of applying it to an operational problem.
• Excellent storytelling, executive presence and written English; comfortable defending numbers under challenge.
• Degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, operations or business; MBA a plus
• Knowledge of supply chain planning (demand, supply, S&OP / IBP) and how it drives execution.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as SCOR.
