Westernacher Consulting in Malaysia is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant to lead strategic SAP transformation programs across local and global engagements. You will drive end-to-end architecture design, pre-sales support, and project delivery while mentoring a growing team of architects and senior consultants.

The role offers hybrid working, a chance to shape ERP strategy, and collaboration with a global specialist network to deliver innovative SAP solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years SAP experience with deep hands-on expertise in S/4HANA MM and SD.
• Cross-module and integration architecture experience across multiple systems.
• Full lifecycle delivery from pre-sales to go-live and hypercare including multiple implementations.
• Consulting background with strong client-facing presence and communication skills.
• Demonstrated line management or mentoring of consulting teams.

Responsabilités

• Design end-to-end SAP logistics solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Translate complex logistics requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and client demonstrations addressing pain points.
• Support bids with solution shaping, effort estimates, and proposals.
• Act as trusted advisor during workshops, evaluations and design discussions.
• Own solution architecture across active projects and ensure integrity across modules.
• Evaluate architectural options against cost, risk, scalability, and fit.
• Govern build quality and defend design decisions through testing and hypercare.
• Lead and develop the ERP practice and mentoring of senior consultants.

As we continue to strengthen our team in Malaysia, we are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to lead strategic SAP transformation programs and drive successful project delivery across local, regional, and global engagements.

What You'll Do

Solution Architecture and Pre-Sales

• Design end-to-end SAP logistics solution architectures aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.

• Translate complex, cross-functional logistics requirements into coherent, scalable and defensible SAP solutions.

• Design and build proof-of-concepts, demonstrations and client presentations that address prospect pain points and demonstrate value.

• Support business development and bids through solution shaping, effort and cost estimates, proposal development and credible client conversations.

• Act as a trusted advisor during customer workshops, solution evaluations and key design discussions.

Delivery Architecture and Governance

• Own solution architecture across active projects and programmes, ensuring integrity across modules, workstreams, interfaces and third-party systems.

• Evaluate architectural options systematically against cost, risk, scalability and client fit, then make and defend design decisions.

• Govern build quality, resolve escalated design issues and protect the target architecture through testing, deployment and hypercare.

• Ensure alignment between business requirements, solution design and delivery outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

ERP Practice Leadership

• Lead and line manage the ERP practice, including objectives, appraisals and capability development.

• Mentor and grow the next layer of architects and senior consultants.

• Set technical standards, reusable assets, methodologies and design review practices across engagements.

• Support recruitment, onboarding and the development of ERP consulting capabilities within Westernacher Malaysia.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline.

• More than 10 years of SAP experience, with deep hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM and SD.

• Proven cross-module and integration architecture experience across multiple systems.

• Full-lifecycle track record, from pre-sales through design, implementation, testing, go-live and hypercare, across several implementations.

• Consulting background with strong client-facing presence, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Systematic, options-based analytical thinking and the ability to make and defend architectural decisions.

• Demonstrated line management, mentoring or technical leadership of consulting teams
