Comet Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Plasma Control Technologies division. You will manage customer portals, coordinate orders, and support on-time delivery across locations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of Customer Service experience.
• Experience with customer portals and consignment inventory management is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of On-Time Delivery (OTD) and factors affecting performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and acknowledge customer demand signals via portals and communications.
• Conduct regular meetings with customer buyers to maintain relationships and support communication.
• Place and track factory orders with Comet locations worldwide to support OTD.
• Expedite orders with Planning and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipments with correct delivery information.

Job description

To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and teamoriented individual for our division Plasma Control Technologies at the Penang site as a Customer Service Representative.

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What You Will Do

• Monitor and acknowledge promptly on customer demand signals through customer portals and coomunications.
• Conduct regular meetings with customer buyers to maintain strong working relationships and support effective communication
• Place and track factory orders with Comet locations worldwide to support and maximize OTD performance
• Expedite customer orders with Planning and cross-functional teams as needed to support on-time delivery commitments
• Ensure timely and accurate shipments to customers and Comet locations, with accurate delivery information, including scheduled ship dates and factory of origin

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of Customer Service experience
• Experience in customer portal management and consignment inventory management is preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel preferred
• Experience with SAP, particularly in the Sales module, is preferred
• Must have a strong understanding of On-Time Delivery (OTD), including the key factors that impact performance and the actions required to drive improvement
