Job summary

GLOBAL FEEDER SHIPPING PTE. LTD. in Malaysia seeks a customer service / bookings coordinator to manage inquiries, bookings, and schedule updates.

You will maintain CBF, verify MLO/Payer, coordinate with sales, and ensure timely responses to customer needs. The role requires 1-3 years’ experience, fluent English, and a Diploma or Bachelor’s qualification.

Daily tasks include updating sailing schedules, processing bookings, and ensuring data accuracy across systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a related role.
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma (3 years).

Responsibilities

• Manage customer service inquiries via email and phone promptly.
• Communicate with customers by phone or email with required assistance.
• Provide accurate information about products and newly launched services.
• Prepare daily sailing schedule aligned with Principal, DPS/LTS and terminal information.
• Receive and process customer bookings with courtesy and promptly.
• Manage daily booking acceptance based on availability and DPS/Balance updates.
• Ensure proper approval for special commodities before releasing bookings.
• Validate customer’s MLO and Payer details in CBF-Container Booking Forecast.
• Alert Sales for new MLO and Payer to process KYC for accounting prior sailing.
• Maintain complete CBF with details such as MLO, payer, volume, type, etc. daily.
• Compile and re-update Final CBF based on latest updates and tally with terminal records.
• Review CBF accuracy and extend completed CBF to Sales and Operations.

• Manage customer service inquiries, both in e-mails and over the phone in timely manner.
• Communicate with customers over the phone or via email by providing assistance needed.
• Provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information about products and newly launched services.
• Prepare an updated sailing schedule on a daily basis aligned with Principal direction, DPS/LTS and terminal information.
• Receive and process customers booking with courtesy and promptly.
• Manage daily booking acceptance based on availability and precision counting given by Principal in their daily BTL-Balance to Load updates.
• Ensure proper approval is received for special commodity prior to releasing booking to customer.
• Ensure customer’s MLO and Payer details are validated accepting booking and updating them in CBF- Container Booking Forecast.
• Alert Sales for new MLO and Payer in order for them to process KYC for accounting prior sailing.
• Maintain a complete CBF with details such as MLO, payer, volume, type & etc. on daily basis.
• Compile and re-update Final CBF based on customers’ latest updates and tally the forecast against terminal record.
• Review CBF accuracy and extend completed CBF to Sales and Operation departments for further process.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience.
• Fluency in English
• Education – Bachelor’s or Diploma(3 years)
