Job summary

DSV Road GmbH in Malaysia is seeking a logistics coordinator to liaise with customers for order bookings and to act as the single contact for customers while monitoring cargo movement locally and across borders.

You will plan bookings with our own trucks or vendors, assist with customs declarations, and ensure loading/unloading occur without escalation. Daily communications will be via email and phone, following SOPs and updating customers on movement.

Responsibilities

• To liaise with customers for order bookings
• Single contact person for the customer assigned to you
• To constantly monitor cargo movement locally & cross border
• To do planning for bookings by making truck arrangements with our own trucks or vendors
• To assist and prepare other requirements as per customer’s request such as customs declaration
• To ensure loading and unloading activities are carried out without escalation
• To inform and update customer regularly on movement
• To communicate with customers on daily basis via email/phone and fulfil their requests and follow their SOPs without fail
• Take ownership of customer’s issues/escalations
• Manage, update and review Customer’s KPIs and reports
• Attend Customers meetings, QBR and inquiries
• To input Transport Management System for shipment’s
• To compute movement information on the database
• To prepare and compile shipment’s documents for submission to billing
