Job summary

Eng Teknologi Sdn. Bhd. in Penang invites qualified candidates for the role of Customer Quality Engineer.

You will monitor QA activities, participate in internal and external audits, and drive improvements in IQC, OQA and SPC to meet customer requirements. You will collaborate with multiple departments, suppliers and customers to ensure product quality and maintain the Quality Management System targets. You will close corrective actions, perform capability studies, and report on quality metrics

Qualifications

• Experience as Customer Quality Engineer or similar QA role.
• Knowledge of QA systems and process control methods.
• Experience coordinating audits with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA activities and audits across departments.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers on QA tasks and improvements.
• Own product quality and QMS targets for the company.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits and close CAPAs.
• Perform capability studies and drive continuous quality improvement.

Job description

Daily supervises, monitoring and controls Quality Assurance or any area assigned and Audit related activities.

Work hand-in-hand with all concerned department personnel, customer and supplier pertaining to product QA or any responsibility assigned and Audit related activities such as Supplier First Article qualification, improvement plans and others.

Represents the company and/or department for some various meetings, training, seminars and other activities conducted within the company.

Participate actively and support all plans/projects of the company in achieving customer requirements and company’s mission and quality policy.

Responsible to own products quality and Quality Management System target.

Conduct internal and external quality audit.

Responsible to continuously improve and develop the system of IQC, OQA or any assigned section towards company’s objective.

Conduct evaluation to attain company’s objective and customer requirements for product continuous quality improvement more particularly with connection to IQA, OQA, Statistical Process Control and Supplier First Article Qualification.

Responsible to close and update all internal /external corrective and preventive actions to achieve customer satisfaction.

Conducts Capability study as per requirements and specifications.

Attended to any off-specifications or non-conforming products and coordinate with other department concerned on remedial, corrective or preventive actions.

Generate/review/check/approve and collects all necessary reports for filing and/or submission to his/her Superior/Department Head.

To determine inspection method & establish Quality Plan for the First Article Products/Periodic update of Quality Plan.

To carry out routine duties and responsibility as per standard operating procedure and any assignment given from his/her superior on/ahead of time.
