Job summary

Sensata Technologies Malaysia in Subang Jaya seeks a Customer Quality Engineer to drive quality improvements for strategic customer accounts. You will maintain customer contacts across product development, release, and production, and coordinate rapid corrective actions to improve processes and products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong organization, planning and time management to achieve results.
• High ethical standards and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Supports the resolution of production quality problems on time to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate production part approval process and provide documents to customer.
• Ensure a smooth and timely launch of new and changed products.
• Participates in handling customer returns and provides frequent status updates to customers.
• Work with cross-functional teams to solve customer challenges and provide answers.
• Participate in project teams to ensure successful product launches and monitor implementation.
• Partner with line quality engineers in audits to ensure manufacturing practices are followed.
• Follow procedures for control of non-conforming parts in production.
• Assist clients during audits to achieve production release.
• Draft plans to fully satisfy customer requirements and understand their specific needs.
• Perform warranty analysis and identify trends.
