Tenpower in Malaysia seeks a Quality Engineer to monitor product quality across manufacturing, investigate issues, and drive CAPA with cross‑functional teams. You will lead audits, trend analysis, and CAPA plans to meet customer specs and industry standards.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Automotive/Mechanical Quality Engineering and 2–3 years in automotive QA, with knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001 and IATF.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in quality assurance or quality engineering within the automotive manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards, including ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, and IATF requirements
• Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and design of experiments (DOE)
• Experience with quality management systems software and data analysis tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to investigate complex quality issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external customers
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining comprehensive documentation and records
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu; additional language skills are advantageous
• Preferred experience in supplier quality management and customer-facing quality roles

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards
• Investigate quality issues, defects, and non-conformances reported by customers or identified during production
• Conduct root cause analysis on quality problems and develop corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and design teams to implement quality improvements and process enhancements
• Manage customer complaints and communications, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of all quality incidents
• Perform trend analysis on quality data and metrics to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement
• Conduct audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality management systems and customer requirements
• Prepare detailed quality reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and customers
• Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions
• Liaise with customers to understand their quality expectations and provide technical support as required
