Job summary

ECO-SHOP Marketing Berhad (Retail) is seeking staff for its Nibong Tebal, Penang location to greet customers, promote products, and uphold store presentation. You will assist with stock, cashier duties when needed, and ensure a clean, organized shopping environment.

Ideal candidates have SPM or higher, prior retail experience, and a customer-centric attitude. Flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; higher qualifications are a plus.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate weights.
• Willing to work at C Mart Nibong Tebal, Penang.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Promote products, provide product knowledge, and upsell to meet targets.
• Assist in unloading, organizing, and handling goods during stock arrivals.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize shelves, and restock products.
• Ensure products are labeled and displayed at eye level.
• Manage inventory and report discrepancies.
• Assist in product displays and store promotions.
• Act as a replacement cashier when needed.
