Job summary

Signature Market seeks a customer-focused Retail Associate to enhance the shopping experience, drive sales, and maintain organized store operations in Malaysia. The role requires friendly greetings, product knowledge across categories, and strong communication with English, Malay, and Mandarin-speaking customers.

You will contribute to inventory control, merchandising standards, and promotional activities while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

Possesses customer service and communication skills.
Good in maintaining Inventory, Store, Organized, and Independent person.
Able to communicate in English, Malay, and Mandarin; to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers.
Smoking or Vaping is prohibited to uphold our brand and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Pleasant appearance, with no tattoos or no visible tattoos.
5 working days per week; 9 hours (2 rest days on weekdays).
Training will be provided.
Must be age 18 and above and Malaysian citizen.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a retail culture focused on the customer, enhancing the buying experience and building relationships that lead to long-term growth.
Responsible for achieving sales goals and positively affecting profitability in customer service, sales, inventory/expense control, and risk management.
Implement all visual merchandising standards and ensure floor sets, cleanliness, signage, and promotions are followed.
Create merchandise presentations and displays that are customer-focused and maximize sales.
Greet every customer warmly, spend quality time to learn needs, preferences and lifestyle.
