Job summary

Sodexo Malaysia is seeking a dedicated kitchen professional to prepare and cook food in line with client contracts and specifications. You will maintain quality, taste, presentation, and portion consistency while supporting the Chef in coordinating kitchen operations and production.

This role requires at least 1 year in hot kitchen operations, strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP, and a commitment to cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment. Open to local citizens only.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in food preparation and hot kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to contract requirements and client specifications.
• Maintain food quality, taste, presentation, and portion consistency.
• Assist the Chef in coordinating kitchen operations and food production.
• Monitor food consumption, costs, and ingredient usage to minimize waste.
• Ensure kitchen equipment, tools, and work areas are clean and well maintained.
• Follow company policies, food safety regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Chef, Executive Chef, or Unit Manager.
