Job summary

Kamlax Global Technologies in Malaysia seeks a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead robotics and autonomous systems development. You will steer architecture, AI, perception, navigation, and deployment of cuting-edge robotic platforms across real-world environments.

You will drive technology strategy, supervise multidisciplinary teams, and build partnerships with customers and investors to translate innovative concepts into market-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology leadership experience in robotics or autonomous systems.
• Minimum 5 years leading engineering, product, or technology teams.
• Proven track record delivering commercial robotics or autonomous projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technology strategy, roadmap, and innovation.
• Oversee design, development, and deployment of robotics and autonomous platforms.
• Lead engineering teams across software, hardware, AI, robotics, and embedded systems.
• Drive architecture decisions for scalable, secure robotic solutions.
• Develop autonomous navigation, perception, localization, and control strategies.
• Oversee ROS/ROS2 based architectures and SLAM, path planning, autonomous navigation.
• Manage AI/ML initiatives including edge AI and computer vision.
• Drive cloud-native, SaaS, edge computing, and distributed robotics development.
• Establish MLOps practices for production AI deployment and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with product, operations and customers for field deployments.
