Job summary

JAC Recruitment International's client, an established international main contractor, seeks an experienced Site Coordinator (CSA) to support the Nilai project on-site.

You will coordinate Civil, Structural and Architectural works, ensure alignment with drawings, specs, safety and schedules, and manage subcontractors and site teams.

This role requires reading drawings, coordinating trades, maintaining records and promoting safety on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or related discipline.
• Experience coordinating Civil/Structural/Architectural works on building projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with main contractor environments and CSA works.
• Certified Lifting Supervisor qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily CSA construction activities on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure smooth site execution.
• Monitor construction progress against the approved work programme.
• Check discrepancies between design drawings, construction drawings and actual site conditions.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Assist in preparing method statements and Safe Operating Procedures where required.
• Coordinate lifting activities and ensure compliance with relevant site safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and highlight construction issues to the Project Manager.
• Participate in site coordination and progress meetings.
• Maintain proper site records and progress documentation.
• Promote good safety practices throughout construction activities.
