Turner & Townsend is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead CSA construction activities in Malaysia, driving site mobilization through project completion while enforcing quality, safety and schedule discipline across multi-disciplinary teams in industrial and high-tech facilities.

You will coordinate with mechanical, electrical, process and commissioning teams, review plans, drive risk mitigation, manage contractor performance, and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in construction management with CSA exposure.
• Experience delivering Industrial, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre or High-Tech facilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, complex project environments.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and supervise all CSA construction activities from site mobilization through project completion.
• Monitor contractor performance, progress, productivity, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate site construction activities with Mechanical, Electrical, Process, and Commissioning teams.
• Review construction methodologies, work plans, method statements, and recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, contract requirements, and regulations.
• Lead site progress meetings, coordination meetings, and contractor reviews.
• Identify construction risks, issues, and potential delays, and implement mitigation measures.
• Monitor project schedules and support the resolution of construction-related challenges.
• Collaborate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Review and verify progress claims, variations, and construction reports.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch list closure, and final project handover activities.

Job Description

• Manage and supervise all CSA construction activities from site mobilization through project completion.

• Coordinate site construction activities with other disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Process, and Commissioning teams.
• Review construction methodologies, work plans, method statements, and recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Lead site progress meetings, coordination meetings, and contractor reviews.
• Identify construction risks, issues, and potential delays, and implement mitigation measures.
• Monitor project schedules and support the resolution of construction-related challenges.
• Collaborate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Review and verify progress claims, variations, and construction reports.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch list closure, and final project handover activities.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience with significant exposure to CSA works.
• Experience delivering Industrial, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or High-Tech Facility projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site management, sequencing, and contractor management.
• Experience managing multiple contractors on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and complex project environments.
