Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior CSA Construction Manager to lead and manage CSA construction activities for data center/high-tech projects in Malaysia. You will coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure seamless project execution.

The role requires 8–10 years of CSA construction management, strong ability to read drawings, manage subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and drive cost efficiency. Based in Johor Bahru with on-site work.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of CSA construction management experience, preferably in data center/high-tech projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, fast-track industrial projects.
• Knowledge of CSA construction methods, materials and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CSA construction activities on site.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement and other disciplines for seamless execution.
• Review and validate CSA design documents, drawings and specs.
• Oversee site preparation, foundation, structural steel, concrete and finishes.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, including scheduling and performance monitoring.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Track progress, handle change orders, and report to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in construction methods, safety and cost efficiency.

Job Description

• Lead and manage CSA construction activities
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and other construction disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review and validate CSA design documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Oversee site preparation, foundation, structural steel, concrete, architectural finishes, and cleanroom construction.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Track progress, manage change orders, and report on project status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to resolve technical and construction challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement in construction methods, safety practices, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in CSA construction management, preferably in data center, high-tech, semiconductor projects
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, fast-track industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of CSA construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, BIM tools).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
