Job summary

Virtual Builders Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled BIM Modeler (Architecture) to support a major data centre project in Johor. You will create and manage 3D BIM models, coordinate with project teams, and produce technical drawings on-site at the project office.

You should be proficient in Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD, with a strong eye for architectural drawings and BIM coordination workflows. Diploma/degree in Architecture or related field is preferred; BIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and update detailed 3D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Interpret architecture specifications, drawings, and standards.
• Produce coordinated shop and as-built drawings from BIM models including RCP, window/door schedules, fit-outs & Joinery.
• Support client submissions and track/disposition comments via submission platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure model coordination and accuracy.
• Maintain weekly and monthly progress reports and attendance tracking.

Job description

We're looking for a skilled BIM Modeler (Architecture) to support a major data centre project in Johor. You'll be responsible for creating and managing 3D BIM models, coordinating with project teams, and producing technical drawings.

Key responsibilities

Develop, manage, and update detailed 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD

Interpret and apply architecture specifications, drawings, and standards

Produce coordinated shop/as-built drawings directly from BIM models including reflected ceiling plans (RCP), window and door schedules, fit-outs & Joinery

Support client's team in shop/as-built drawings submission that includes raising discrepancies, tracking comments from external stakeholders and revising drawing submission via client's submission platform

Support occasional ad-hoc client requests with a positive & respectful attitude

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure model coordination and accuracy

Maintain compliance with client-specific protocols, including weekly & monthly progress report and attendance tracking

About you

Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD

Strong understanding and attention to detail of architecture construction drawings and specifications

Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Able and willing to work full-time on-site at the project site office

Self-motivated, willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, or a related field preferred

BIM certification or relevant training is an added advantage
