Job summary

Air Products Malaysia Sdn is seeking a hands-on Plant Operator to manage the day-to-day ASU operations at the Pengerang site. The role requires shift work around the clock, safe start-ups and shutdowns, process monitoring, and quality assurance of product streams.

You will assist plant engineers, record readings, generate daily and monthly production reports, issue safe work permits, support maintenance activities and ensure compliance with ISO and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/2+ years of plant operation experience preferred.
• Experience with safe work permits (SWP) is desirable.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001 and safety standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ASU units and monitor plant performance.
• Record readings, report abnormalities, and take corrective action.
• Assist plant engineer/manager with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Generate daily and monthly production reports for traceability.
• Safely issue permits and support HSE/compliance audits.
