Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent finance experience.
• Professional accounting qualification desirable or in progress.
• Understanding of IFRS and financial control principles; Australian accounting and tax exposure advantageous.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience advantageous.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel for reconciliations and reporting.
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely financial accounting services to the Australian business from MYBEC.
• Meet service levels, close calendars, and reporting deadlines with proper hand-offs to Australian stakeholders.
• Prepare general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end activities.
• Maintain fixed asset register and asset-related schedules.
• Prepare BAS workpapers and documents for lodgement by Australian team.
• Coordinate audit information requests and support queries with cross-location teams.
• Provide backup coverage during peak periods to ensure service continuity.
