Job summary

ACCA Careers in Malaysia seeks a Financial Accountant/Finance Senior Executive for a manufacturing environment. You will manage full accounting cycles, prepare financial reports, and coordinate audits, while ensuring payroll, SST and e-Invoicing compliance across the operation in Malaysia and collaboration with the Australia finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• Three to five years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with MFRS, IFRS and Malaysian reporting requirements.
• SAP or ERP system experience.
• Payroll processing and corporate online banking familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage full or partial sets of accounts including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets and intercompany balances.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare timely management accounts, financial statements and cash flow reports.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits and respond to audit queries.
• Support payroll processing and statutory submissions; handle SST/e-Invoicing as required.
• Liaise with Australia team, external auditors, tax agents and bankers.
