Job summary

Maybank is seeking a motivated individual to support the Commercial Banking team in Malaysia. You will assist in preparing credit proposals, renewal submissions, and relevant customer documentation, while collecting and reviewing financial information for credit assessments.

You will monitor renewal timelines, support portfolio management, and help ensure regulatory compliance. This role offers exposure to credit discussions and portfolio reviews in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Strong interest in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Credit Analysis, and Relationship Management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit proposals and renewal submissions.
• Collect, review, and organize financial information and management accounts.
• Monitor facility renewal timelines with customers and stakeholders.
• Support portfolio management, including post-disbursement conditions and covenant compliance.
• Assist in monitoring Watchlist, SMA, and MFRS 9 requirements through data gathering.
• Prepare portfolio and performance reports as required.
• Coordinate customer inquiries to ensure prompt service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in customer meetings and credit discussions to gain exposure.
