Job summary

Maybank seeks a junior associate to support BDMs and the Renewal Team in preparing credit proposals, renewal submissions and customer documentation, while collecting financial information for credit assessment.

You will monitor renewal timelines, assist in portfolio management, reporting, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role offers exposure to commercial banking operations and care for customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Strong interest in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Credit Analysis, and Relationship Management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret financial information.

Responsibilities

• Support BDMs and Renewal Team in preparing credit proposals and renewal submissions.
• Assist in collecting, reviewing, and organizing financial information for credit assessment.
• Monitor facility renewal timelines and coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support portfolio management, tracking post-disbursement conditions and covenant compliance.
• Assist in monitoring Watchlist, SMA, and MFRS 9 requirements through data gathering and reporting.
• Prepare portfolio reports and management information for performance tracking.
• Coordinate customer enquiries to ensure prompt service delivery and satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in customer meetings and credit discussions to gain practical exposure.
