Job summary

SOUTHERN AUTO CAPITAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a Credit Recovery Executive to join our Debt Management team in Kuala Lumpur.

You will contact customers with overdue accounts, negotiate feasible repayment plans and work toward monthly targets while earning incentives. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in collections or related fields, strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and a valid driving licence for site visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM; a Diploma or Degree in Business, Management or a related field is an advantage.
• 1–3 years of experience in collection, credit recovery, sales or customer service preferred; fresh candidates with strong communication skills are welcome.

Credit Recovery Executive (Debt Collection)

Are you a confident communicator who enjoys negotiating and solving problems? Join our Debt Management team and help customers get back on track with their car loans. You’ll earn attractive incentives for hitting your targets.

What You’ll Do

Contact and follow up with customers on overdue and bad debt accounts

Negotiate with customers and agree on practical repayment plans

Work towards monthly collection targets, with incentives for achieving them

Visit customers on site for selected accounts, based on company criteria

Prepare and submit status reports after each site visit

Make sure all collection activities follow company policies and guidelines

Handle other tasks assigned by your supervisor

What We’re Looking For

Minimum SPM; a Diploma or Degree in Business, Management or a related field is an advantage

1-3 years of experience in collection, credit recovery, sales or customer service preferred (fresh candidates with strong communication skills are welcome to apply)

Persuasive speaker and good listener

Good negotiation and conflict-handling skills

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (other dialects are an advantage)

Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills

Own transport and a valid driving licence (for site visits)
